Real Estate Development – North Vancouver. The proposal from the District is to re develop the whole area from the N.W. corner of Marine and Capilano Road. Taking out Denny’s restaurant, Earls Restaurant and the wee hotel. Then to head North up Capilano road past Hope Road on the East side.
Quite an ambitious development, comprising of a community centre, a couple of 30 storey apartment buildings and low rise high density on the Capilano Rd side.
This area has always looked a wee bit shabby; this would certainly give a pretty striking entrance to the Distance of North Vancouver, although the amount of traffic to the area may be a problem.
