He stood by the door, pride of ownership evident. They both knew that the buyers would love their home for all the reasons they had loved it. The morning walks to the Bay, or the Sunday stroll to Whytecliff. The kids would be safe and the dog (for the most part) would be well behaved in the fenced back garden. When the kids were small, stockings were hung over a proper brick mantle with a roaring fire to roast Santa's cheeks. The windows were replaced and a large room was built on at the back to gather around the T.V. A lovely wee lady rents the basement.....mum says she's a 'keeper'
